    Description

I have here an Extremely Rare 4" XEROX DDC CTP1 CTP3 Silicon Wafer from I would assume the 1970's to 1980's(I will continue to check the wafer for a Date Code).
When it comes to Computer related Companies, there are many that are Known as powerhouses.  When you think of CPUs, Intel and AMD come to mind.  When you think of Mobile Devices, you would think of Samsung or Apple for physical devices, or Google for the Android OS.  When it comes to Printers, Scanners, Photocopiers, and the like, there is only one company that reigns as Emperor, and that is Xerox.  Xerox PARC is the Legendary Research Center where so much incredible advances in technology happened.  Besides Copiers, Printers, and Scanners, Xerox is also credited as the creators/originators of the GUI (Graphical User Interface) which is the basis of all computer systems to this day.  Xerox is also credited with advancing development of the "Mouse," as well as helping with many other parts of computer History.
Here is your chance to get an incredible pat of history.  The chances of finding another Silicon Wafer from Xerox will be incredibly slim, don't let this chance slip by!
    ---------------------------
I couldn't really find any information on these numbers (CTP1 and CTP3) and what I found with those values didn't seem to really apply to anything, but "DDC" is mentioned under this product https://www.xerox.com/en-us/digital-printing/feeders-print-finishing/duplo-ddc-810-spot-uv-coater which may or may not correlate to this Silicon Wafer.  DDC might also apply to this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Direct_digital_control
This Silicon Wafer also might have been used internally in Xerox as I have at least 1 other Xerox Wafer that was Definitely Proprietary to Xerox and would have been used internally.
This Wafer was one of many that I have in my collection that I was told belonged to someone From "CVD Systems" which I assume is "CVD Equipment Corp" https://www.cvdequipment.com/ which is a manufacturer of equipment such as Silicon Wafers, that Xerox had  possibly contracted with, to get their Wafers made.  I had thought maybe this was from a Xerox Employee, as the first 2 Wafers were from Xerox, but a few others don't seem to be Xerox.  I'm unsure fully as the details are hard to find on some wafers.  I assume what the seller told me is correct, and CVD Equipment Corp seems to be the best connection.
This is an extremely rare silicon wafer, from an Incredible company, that any serious wafer/chip collector should have in their collection.  Don't miss this chance to own a piece of Xerox History!
This wafer did come to me with some scratches, but has been sealed in a wafer carrier since purchase.
This wafer is almost the same as this listing of mine https://www.ebay.com/itm/265852284699 but there are slight difference to the wafer.  It's as if this is an updated model or the other listing is the updated model.
Either way both of these wafers are different at the microscopic level (See the DDC Xerox Picture above) and extremely rare.

Thank you for your time with viewing my listing, I appreciate it. I hope you have a great day!
NOTE:  Handling time is set to 10 days because I normally end up having buyers who want more than 1 item, so a few days can go by before the full transaction is completed; however, the handling time set for each item has to be obeyed or else penalties happen to me, so I set the handling time to a time that shouldn't cause problems.  I have been recently notified(10/24/22) that some buyers are concerned about the long handling times so I want to make everyone completely aware of the situation.
After THE FULL Transaction is complete(the buyer is done choosing listings to purchase, and ready for shipment), I normally try to ship the day of completion or the next day(depending if transaction completion happens early enough in the day and on a weekday), but 2-3 regular days(not business days) would be the maximum handling time.  I do not want buyers to have to wait for their product after purchase, I just want to make sure buyers have selected everything they want to purchase, before I ship, as most of my buyers thus far have wanted more than 1 item, while at the same time make sure I do not get penalized, because even if a buyer is okay with waiting, I have to obey the times set by the site.  Thank you for your understanding, and thank you for your time with viewing my listing, I really appreciate it.  If you have any questions at all about this issue, or anything else I can answer for you / help-you-with, please do not hesitate to ask.  I am here to make the Buyer's experience completely satisfactory, so let me know if there is anything I can do for you!  I hope you have a fantastic day!
